I am so excited.
In mid October, I will be leaving Toronto to take a 26 day Yoga Teacher Training Course at the The Yandara Yoga Institute in Baja, Mexico.
I am always eager to learn more about yoga, so you can guess how thrilling this news is. This course will improve my own yoga practice (in the warm sunshine) and I'll learn new ideas, information and techniques from professional instructors with years of experience.
I have learnt so much from my Yoga and Meditation For Children workshops in the past, so just think how full of energy and new knowledge I will be when I return to my classes here in the Beaches after this course.

Today I had a three year old girl show up for my yoga class at Kew park. Molly. She was a very enthusiastic participant and wanted to show me all her own yoga moves. Most of which, it might be a stretch to actually call yoga.
But as my yoga teacher says .. it is all good..... being outside in the fresh air on a beautiful evening ... moving our bodies in synchronization with the nature around us ...
It was a very imaginative, creative and free-flowing sort of a class. Afterwards, heard Molly's grandma telling her daughter how flexible I was in my approach ... Molly would do a molly move and then we would do a yoga pose. Then she'd would run for an almond from granma, then come back onto her yoga mat and coach me through a molly move.
She was still trying to teach me 'one last pose' as i left the park.
