Yoga for pre-schoolers

Even the youngest children can benefit from simple yoga exercise.  It helps them develop their sense of balance and confidence. 

Pre-schoolers are busy learning how to use the space around them.  They explore this space through play;  children delight in discovering their physical potential. 

This age group likes to experiment with different ways of moving. They love to sway in the wind in tree pose, or pretend to be tall coconut trees and pointy pine trees. 

Hear them "moo" as they practice cow pose -- or "roar" in lion's pose and "meow" as they stretch into cat's pose.

Pre-schoolers have wonderful powers of fantasy and imagination. Our classes are designed to encourage children to use their imagination.

All they need is a desire to move, to stretch, to imagine - and to laugh. 

Yogaverde4kids  now offers yoga classes for pre-school children  -- in your home or my studio.
